All profits to the local community

Voodoo has pledged all profits from online sales of our retail products to the communities we serve.

Our vision, of a world where local community plays a larger part in our lives, depends on physical spaces for people to interact face-to-face. COVID19 put a temporary pause on this and forced us online, away from our communities.

Not afraid of a challenge we thought hard about how selling online could achieve our vision even after COVID19 blows over. It didn’t take long to agree that we could distribute the profits from online sales of our retail products to groups and clubs that foster local community culture in the places we serve.

At the end of each year (ours is June) we will distribute all profits to community-based voluntary groups, clubs and associations that bring people together face-to-face in each of the areas we serve.

Examples of community-based voluntary groups, clubs and associations that we will distribute profits to include youth clubs like the Brownies or Scouts, community cafes and food banks, social clubs, soup kitchens, sports leagues, playground and park guardians, improvement groups, after school clubs and community events.
